Quiet Days

Kum Nye - Tibetan Buddhist Yoga: Movement as Meditation

This movement meditation is suitable for anyone, particularly people who feel they cannot meditate and who find the sitting and more subtle forms of meditation difficult. An opportunity to learn a different form of Yoga.

These exercises are done in a slow, cyclical format, which enables our chi/prana to become balanced, then greater integration of mind and body takes place. These exercises are unlike Hatha Yoga in that they are not designed to improve our physical capability but to engage and awaken subtle energies.

Traditional Yoga Meditation Techniques

Using Pranayama (Breathing techniques), Mudras, Mantras, and Visualisation. No Posture work.

A variety of guided meditations. This meditation day is an opportunity to deepen your Yoga practice and knowledge of Yoga and is suitable for anyone - even if you do not practice Yoga.

There will be time for walking and sharing with others.
