An opportunity to mark and celebrate our life transitions, to take stock of our lives, and to examine the influences and experiences that have moulded them. Holding the concept of life as a journey, we will use the model of The Four Shields, and The Sacred Quest (an ancient philosophy of self development which links the personal cycles of change and growth to universal principles) in order to explore our place in the world and the uniqueness of our contribution to it. These 5-7 day events take place in wilderness settings and are led by renowned writers and polar travellers, Marie & Wally Herbert.
For anyone who feels at a crossroads in their life, for people who feel stuck in some way or who feel they have exhausted their inner resources of energy, wisdom and renewal, these give an opportunity to attune to nature to receive answers to your deepest questions. Some time may be spent alone and fasting in the field as a way of deepening the experience.
