On a more refreshing note, I’m happy to have spent so much time with my grandchildren, little Johnny and Mary, though of course I’m now persona non-gratis. Their innocent questions kept me going all these years:

“ Grandad, what happens to you when you get older,” that was Johnny, I answered “I’m not sure but I’ve got a hunch.”
“Grandad, why do you always look like you’re bending over,” that was Mary, naughty little tink.
