The idea behind this remedy is that flowers, gems and other natural artefacts contain essential properties that can have the ability to harmonise mind, body and spirit, and stimulate the body's ability to heal itself. By placing them in pure spring water, perhaps from a healing well, and then exposing them to direct sun or moonlight (a technique pioneered by Dr Edward Bach, creator of the Bach Flower Remedies), something of their subtle essence is transferred to the water, which is then bottled and sealed. This water is used to treat a variety of emotional, behavioural or physical conditions in animals or children. Specific essences may be used to strengthen such positive qualities as confidence, optimism or love, or to overcome conditions such as fear, stress or anxiety. There are similarities between this remedy and homeopathy.
Notes: Used to treat such conditions as anxiety, depression, nervous disorders and tiredness.
