Feng Shui

Feng Shui has been called the 'art of placement' and has been widely practiced in China since ancient times. It is based on the belief that harmony within one's environment leads to physical and mental harmony, as well as prosperity.

A trained Feng Shui practitioner will visit your home or office and spend two to three hours assessing your environment. He or she will then advise on changes or adjustments to furniture, the position of mirrors, colours of walls (and much more), in order to improve the flow of energy in the surroundings, and thus also of harmony.

Many Feng Shui principles are based on common sense. For instance, to enhance one's sense of security (and thus promote proper rest) in a bedroom, one should ensure that one has a clear view of the door, and thus of any potential intruders. To learn all the principles of this fascinating art takes many years, and promotes a greater sensitivity to the effects of the environment on human wellbeing.

Notes: Nearly all buildings in Hong Kong are sited and furnished with advice from Feng Shui practitioners.
